Feeney loan complete

Bolton Wanderers have completed the loan signing of Liam Feeney from Millwall.

A midfielder who is also capable of playing on the wing, he joins the club on a three-month loan deal and is eligible for the weekend’s game against Yeovil Town at the Reebok.

Feeney, 26, carved out a career in non-league football with Hayes and Salisbury City before making the step up to the Football League with Bournemouth in 2009.

He played an integral role in the Cherries’ promotion from League Two under Eddie Howe, before after another successful season at Dean Court prompted Kenny Jackett to sign him at Millwall in the summer of 2011.

Feeney will wear shirt number 26 during his stay at Bolton.
