Young defender joins League Two outfit on permanent deal
Cian Bolger has left Bolton Wanderers and signed for Southend United for an undisclosed fee.The defender, who joined the club from Leicester City in January 2013, featured heavily for the Whites’ development and under-21 squads during the course of the 2013/14 campaign and was also captain of the side.
During his time with Wanderers, the 22-year-old enjoyed loan spells with both Colchester United and latterly Southend for a month earlier this year.
Bolton Wanderers would like to thank Cian for his efforts during his time at the club and wish him well in his future career.
