Confirmation of match officials for Wanderers' FA Cup clash with Wigan this weekendPhil Dowd will take charge of Wanderers' FA Cup third round tie with Wigan Athletic on Saturday afternoon.
An experienced referee, Dowd has been officiating in the professional game for 17 seasons.
Overseeing 15 games so far during the current campaign, most of which have been Premier League matches, the Staffordshire based referee has brandished 65 yellow and four red cards during that time.
Dowd last officiated a Bolton game back in October 2012 when the Whites drew 2-2 with Leeds United at Macron Stadium.
Andrew Halliday and Duncan Street will run the line, while Robert Jones is the fourth official.
