Having initially joined the club on loan on January transfer deadline day, Liam Trotter’s exploits during the latter months of the campaign ultimately earned him a permanent move to BL6 this summer.
Bringing down the curtain on a four-and-a-half year affiliation with Millwall, the 25-year-old featured on 16 occasions for Wanderers in the second half of the season and even notched the club’s goal of the season award for his impressive long range effort against Sheffield Wednesday in April.
Now set to join the Whites on a three-year deal, the experienced midfielder will link up with former flatmate and Millwall teammate Liam Feeney who has also agreed to join the club on a permanent basis.
