Loan pair both see their respective sides stumble at the semi-final stage of the play-offs
Two players out on loan experienced play-off disappointment over the course of the last six days, with Keith Andrews and Craig Davies’ respective seasons coming to an end.
Andrews once again played the full game for Brighton & Hove Albion in their second leg away at Derby.
Trailing 2-1 from the first leg, Andrews and Brighton were defeated 4-1 at the iPro Stadium.
Derby will now meet QPR in the Sky Bet Championship play-off final.
In League One Craig Davies and Preston also fell at the semi-final stage losing out to Rotherham.
Despite featuring in the first leg, Davies missed out on the side altogether for the second leg. Rotherham triumphing 3-1 on the night and 4-2 on aggregate.
Rotherham will now face Leyton Orient in the Sky Bet League play-off final.
