Internationals: Lee Chung-Yong and Medo Kamara complete 90 minutes

Tim Ream was also in action during the final international break of 2014

Three of Wanderers’ international stars were in action for their respective nations during the latest round of fixtures across the globe.

Having been rested from the start in South Korea’s previous friendly against Jordan, Lee Chung-Yong completed the full 90 minutes of their 1-0 defeat against Iran as they continued their preparations for next year’s Asian Cup.

Medo Kamara also completed 90 minutes as Sierra Leone suffered defeat in their final African Cup of Nations qualifier, losing 3-1 to DR Congo.

Elsewhere, Tim Ream, having received a late call-up to the USA squad, came on in the 87th minute as Jurgen Klinsmann’s side suffered a 4-1 defeat against the Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium.

Meanwhile Adam Bogdan and Conor Wilkinson were both unused substitutes for Hungary and Republic of Ireland Under-21s as their nations took on Russia and their under-21 counterparts respectively.

Hungary fell to a late 2-1 defeat at home against Fabio Capello’s side, while Ireland fought out an entertaining 2-2 draw in their second of two friendlies held in Marbella.
