Watch back footage of the manager's recent visit to Oxford Grove JFC to meet youngster Thomas Fielding
Nine-year-old Thomas Fielding was given a surprise on Wednesday evening when Wanderers' manager Neil Lennon paid a visit to the youngster's training session with his football team Oxford Grove JFC Under-10s.
The manager spent time meeting Thomas and his fellow team-mates, signing autographs and getting involved in the training session itself.
Thomas, aged 9 and a season ticket holder at Macron Stadium, sent a letter in to the club for the attention of chairman Phil Gartside expressing his interest in the then-vacant position last month and was able to meet the man who beat him to the job in midweek.
