Tim Ream named as NWFAwards finalist

American international nominated alongside Bolton Wanderers Community Trust

Tim Ream has been named as finalist for the Northwest Championship Player of the Year award at next week’s MBNA Northwest Football Awards.

The versatile USA international proved himself a stalwart in Wanderers’ defence last season, making 45 appearances for the Whites in all competitions.

Ream, whose efforts saw him named as club and Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Association Player of the Year, will be looking to follow in the footsteps of club captain Jay Spearing, who won the award last year.

Elsewhere, the Bolton Wanderers Community Trust have been named as a finalist for the Community Club of the Year award, while  they will also be looking to defend their Community Initiative of the Year crown having shared the accolade with Everton last season.

The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday 18 November at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford with all winners being announced on the night.
