Loan Watch: Mixed fortunes for on-loan quartet

Four players currently plying their trade away from Macron Stadium feature for respective sides

With four of Wanderers' five loanees in action over the course of the weekend, all four suffered their own highs and lows on Saturday with varying results.

Alex Baptiste started for Blackburn Rovers as they came behind to draw 2-2 at home to Watford.

However, the defender was withdrawn at the break with his side two goals down as Craig Conway came on in his place. Keith Andrews was not involved for Watford.

In League One Conor Wilkinson set up Danny Philliskirk’s late winner as Oldham Athletic extended their recent unbeaten run to seven matches with a 3-2 victory over Scunthorpe United.

Meanwhile in League Two, Hayden White completed 90 minutes as Carlisle United secured their first win of the season by beating Tranmere Rovers 1-0, while Joe Riley also completed the full 90 minutes in Oxford United’s 2-0 loss away at Luton Town.
