Tim Ream retains Supporters Association Player of the Year award

24 April 2015

American defender wins the BWSA’s award for the season, with Darren Pratley in second place

Tim Ream has been crowned the Bolton Wanderers Supporters Association Player of the Year for the second successive year.

The annual accolade was handed out at the BWSA’s end of season social evening held at Macron Stadium on Thursday.

Each member of the BWSA were entitled to one vote, with Ream topping to pile. Darren Pratley came in second place, with both present on the night to receive their respective awards.

After the awards ceremony Ream and Pratley took part in an end of season question and answer session before signing autographs and posing for photos.

Versatile American Ream has featured in all but two of Bolton’s games so far this season, whilst Pratley has impressed and prior to a hamstring injury in January missed just one game under the guidance of manager Neil Lennon.

Ream said: “Of course it’s nice to be recognised by the fans with an award like this. It’s an honour to win the award again, though I’m just a small part of the whole team.

“Early on nobody could say that we were playing to the best of our abilities, but since the manager has come in we’ve been able to push on and I’m enjoying my football here at Bolton.”
