Wanderers backing Prostate Cancer UK at Norwich City clash

Details of the club's planned support for Prostate Cancer UK at the Whites' home game with Norwich this weekend.

Saturday's Sky Bet Championship clash against Norwich will see Bolton Wanderers support Prostate Cancer UK.

There will be bucket collections around Macron Stadium ahead of the game to raise money for the organisation, while the club's matchday programme meanwhile will feature details on Prostate Cancer UK and how supporters can get involved and lend a helping hand in the battle against the disease.

Elsewhere, in line with Wanderers' support, Gareth Lester, a member of the ground staff team at Bolton Wanderers, has officially been named as the Club Champion and will be part of the London to Amsterdam Men United Team this summer.

Gareth, alongside many others, will be cycling 145 miles over two days between June 12 and 14 to raise money to help beat prostate cancer.

He is also taking up the challenge in memory of another former staff member Dave Melling who sadly lost his battle against prostate cancer on September 4, 2014.

To show your support and sponsor Gareth, please visit his JustGiving page at www.justgiving.com/Gareth-Lester or alternatively, text BWFC 68 plus the donation amount to 70070.

The Bolton Wanderers Community Trust are also raising money for the cause with a team of staff members running the Manchester 10K, with donations welcome at www.justgiving.com/TeamBWCT
