Loan watch: Hayden White starts as Blackpool extend winning run

Oscar Threlkeld, Rob Hall, Liam Trotter and Ross Fitzimsons also in action for respective loan sides

Hayden White helped Blackpool extend their winning run to three matches as they beat Peterborough United on Saturday.

The defender completed 90 minutes as first half goals from Mark Cullen and Brad Potts secured a 2-0 victory for the Tangerines at Bloomfield Road.

In Sky Bet League Two, Oscar Threlkeld completed 90 minutes as Plymouth Argyle scored a last-minute winner to clinch a 2-1 victory away at Hartlepool United.

Kelvin Mellor struck late on to end the Pilgrims' four-game winless run after they had earlier been pegged back by Scott Fenwick's penalty, having taken the lead through Carl McHugh.

Elsewhere, Liam Trotter and Rob Hall faced off the in the Sky Bet Championship as Nottingham Forest clinched a 2-1 home victory over MK Dons.

Hall completed 90 minutes while Trotter came on as an 84th minute substitute as early goals from Nelson Oliveira and Ryan Mendes saw Forest seal three points, despite Joshua Murphy netting a late consolation.

Meanwhile in the Vanarama National League South division, Ross Fitzsimons made his debut for Bishop's Stortford as they drew 1-1 away at Weston Super-Mare.
