Young Wanderers supporters attend BWFC Juniors Christmas Party

Junior season ticket holders and club members start the festivities early with annual Christmas event

Hundreds of young fans packed into the Platinum Suite at Macron Stadium on Tuesday evening for the club’s annual BWFC Juniors Christmas Party.

Open to all junior season ticket holders and members of the Whites’ junior fan club, the party gave youngsters the opportunity meet Father Christmas and receive a Bolton Wanderers 2016 annual as an early present alongside get involved with a number of party games and festive based entertainment.

A variety of superheroes were also on hand to meet the party-goers, with the likes of Spiderman, Batman and Indiana Jones all gracing the Platinum Suite alongside Anna and Elsa from Frozen.

And on top of all that, the club's first team squad all came along to join in the fun and meet and greet the fans ahead of the festive period.

Signing autographs, merchandise and posing for photos, the squad were led by captain Darren Pratley who praised the success of the event following the conclusion of the evening.

“It’s been great to see the fans come out tonight,” he said. “It’s great to know that we have a lot of fantastic support behind us in what at the moment.

“The youngsters seemed to enjoy meeting us all too as did we, and the entertainment that was on offer seemed very lively!

“We enjoy getting out into the community and events like this give us the perfect opportunity to give a little bit of something back and put a few smiles on faces which is great.”
