Goalkeeper claims monthly club gong following impressive December performances
Andrew Lonergan has won the Bolton Wanderers Player of the Month award for December.
The goalkeeper turned in a string of fine performances between the sticks, playing every minute of Wanderers’ five game throughout the month.
Bolton started the month with three consecutive clean sheets.
Lonergan topped a fan poll with whopping 50 percent of the vote. Darren Pratley came in second with 22 percent and Lee Chung-Yong third with 13 percent.
