Wanderers in Sky Bet's £250k transfer fund draw this Friday

Conor Smyth could land Wanderers transfer windfall in Friday's draw

Wanderers will be one of ten clubs involved in Sky Bet's transfer fund draw on Friday dinnertime.

Set to be broadcast live on Sky Sports News, the draw will take place from midday at the Sky Sports Studios with fan Conor Smyth, from County Down representing the club having been selected at random from over 100,000 Sky Bet customers to take a place in the final.

Friday’s final draw will be hosted by Sky Sports News HQ presenters Jim White and Natalie Sawyer, while former Wanderers defender and the current academy director Jimmy Phillips will also be present at the event.

Fans entered the £250,000 Transfer Fund competition by linking their Sky Bet account to their favourite Football League club. For every £1 bet they generated one Transfer Fund Token towards the draw.

The winning club will be able to use the £250,000 on transfer fees, loan fees or towards new players’ wages.
