Heading into a new calendar year, Wanderers started 2015 in memorable fashion with a 1-0 win over local-rivals Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup courtesy of a goal from debutant Zach Clough.January would also see Eidur Gudjohnsen's first goal in a Bolton shirt for 14 years having rejoined the club in December, a hard-fought 0-0 at Anfield against Liverpool as well as a further two strikes from Clough on his Championship debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
