Medo Kamara called up by Sierra Leone

Jamie Thomas also set to feature for Wales under-19s in upcoming set of international fixtures

Medo Kamara has been called up to the Sierra Leone national team for their upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifier against Ivory Coast.

The Leone Stars are in Group I of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, along with Ivory Coast and Sudan. The top-placed national in the group of three will automatically qualify for the tournament in Gabon in 2017.

Medo and Sierra Leone’s upcoming game will take place on Sunday in Port Harcourt in Nigeria.

The only other Bolton Wanderers player on international duty is youngster Jamie Thomas, who has been called up to the Wales under-19 squad for their game against Poland.
