Supporters now able to cast their vote for club's monthly gong
Voting is now open for the Bolton Wanderers Player of the Month award for September.
Unbeaten at home throughout the month, Emile Heskey and Stephen Dobbie were both on the scoresheet as Wanderers started September with a 2-1 victory over Motherwell in Keith Lasley's testimonial.
Neil Lennon's side followed that up by clinching their first victory of the campaign against Wolves following their return to league action thanks to goals from Liam Feeney and Zach Clough, before facing off against Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town.
The Whites then finished the month by coming from behind draw 2-2 against Sky Bet Championship league-leaders Brighton & Hove Albion – a game which saw forward Gary Madine net his first Whites goal with a last-minute equaliser and Max Clayton make his long-awaited return from injury after nine months on the sidelines.
In the continued absence of skipper Darren Pratley, Mark Davies captained Bolton throughout the month as he continued to shine in the heart of midfield alongside the equally impressive Neil Danns.
Meanwhile, August’s Player of the Month Prince-Desire Gouano picked up where he left off as he continued to stand out as an ever-present in the centre of defence, with goalkeeper Ben Amos also highlighting his worth with a number of fine saves throughout the month.
Elsewhere, Liam Feeney surged to the top of the Wanderers’ scoring charts after finding the back of the net against both Wolves and Huddersfield, while he also provided the cross for Madine’s late equaliser against Brighton.
