Details of upcoming weekend rail closures at Horwich Parkway

Bolton Wanderers supporters are advised that upcoming rail closures at Horwich Parkway could impact their travel plans for the Whites' opening Sky Bet League One match against Sheffield United.

The Trotters welcome the Blades to Macron Stadium on Saturday 6 August, with supporters planning on making the journey by train likely to affected by the closures.

There will be no rail travel from Horwich Parkway on either of these dates, with rail replacement buses instead in place running to and from both Bolton and Chorley train stations.

Supporters are advised to plan their journeys in advance, leaving plenty of time, to best navigate the closures.
