Wanderers sign James Henry on loan

Midfielder joins Whites in temporary deal from Wolverhampton Wanderers

Bolton Wanderers have signed James Henry on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers until January.

Starting his career with Reading, the midfielder made his senior debut during a loan spell with Nottingham Forest before later enjoying temporary stints Bournemouth and Norwich City.

Following two loan spells at Millwall, the 27-year-old joined the Lions permanently in July 2010 following their promotion to the Sky Bet Championship, and was an FA Cup semi-finalist with the club in 2013 alongside Mark Beevers, Chris Taylor and Liam Trotter.

The former England and Scotland youth international joined Wolves in January 2014 following a loan spell at Molineux, and went on to help the club win promotion as Sky Bet League One champions in his first few months at the club.

Henry has made 120 appearances during his time with the West Midlands-based club, scoring 22 goals, and was on the scoresheet against Bolton in both of the last two seasons.
