GAME teams up with Wanderers to boost family experience at Macron Stadium

XBOX One consoles installed in the Bolton at Home Family Stand GAME area

Bolton Wanderers Football Club and Bolton Wanderers Community Trust have joined forces with GAME UK to install brand new XBOX One consoles in the Bolton at Home Family Stand GAME area.

The Bolton at Home Family Stand is the ideal location on a match day at Macron Stadium for a fantastic and entertaining family day out, offering more than football.

It’s the home of BWFC’s very own Lofty Junior as well as regular football coaching sessions with the Community Trust, appearances from children’s entertainers, face painting and the Cinema Zone.

GAME, Bolton, will be a supporting act at the BWFC Juniors special events starting at the BWFC Juniors Christmas Party on 15 December where players will compete against young Wanderers fans on FIFA 17 throughout the event.

This party is FREE to all junior members including current season ticket holders.

Steve Strech, Game Community Development Manager, said:  "GAME are proud to be associated with the work of the Bolton Wanderers Community Trust, who believe in the importance of raising the aspirations of many, through working in the heart of the Community in Bolton and the surrounding areas.

“We look forward to supporting the Community Trust going forward, with new exciting initiatives helping to keep sport at the heart of society."

John Ashley, BWFC’s Commercial Manager, added: “Working in partnership with GAME, Bolton, gives young Wanderers fans the chance to enjoy the latest video gaming experience within the stadium every match day.

“We also provide opportunities throughout the season for fans to meet their favourite players at family events. To have GAME in attendance at these events adds extra value to the fan experience.”

Phil Mason, Head of the BWFC Community Trust, said: “This is a great new partnership and will help enhance the work of the Community Trust within the town and offer a great opportunity to let many of our participants have a chance to enjoy video gaming experiences.

"GAME, Bolton has really bought into the values of the Trust and all that we are trying to achieve within the wider community.”
