Loan watch: Quartet in action for respective sides

Rob Hall, Hayden White, Lawrie Wilson and Oscar Threlkeld all featured on Saturday

Four on-loan Trotters featured for their respective temporary sides during the latest round of Football League fixtures.

Rob Hall completed 87 minutes for MK Dons before being replaced by Matt Upson as Joe Walsh's late acrobatic volley secured a 1-0 victory over Reading in the Sky Bet Championship.

In Sky Bet League One, Hayden White completed the full 90 minutes for Blackpool as they thrashed Scunthorpe United at Bloomfield Road to move out of the relegation zone.

Tom Aldred headed the Tangerines ahead early on before a Brad Potts brace and second half goals from David Norris and Danny Philliskirk sealed a 5-0 win.

Elsewhere in the division, Lawrie Wilson completed 74 minutes before being being replaced by Kgosi Ntlhe as Peterborough United drew 0-0 with Southend United at London Road.

The Posh missed the chance to claim all three points in the last minute as Chris Forrester had a stoppage-time penalty saved.

Meanwhile in Sky Bet League Two, Oscar Threlkeld came on as a 78th minute substitute in place of Craig Tanner as Plymouth Argyle beat Stevenage to retain their place at the top of the table.

Fighting out a five-goal thriller at Home Park, both sides exchanged early strikes inside the opening ten minutes through Carl McHugh and Charlie Lee before former Wanderer Gregg Wylde fired the Pilgrims ahead.

Tanner extended Plymouth's lead shortly before the break, and even though Lee netted his second to halve the deficit shortly after the restart, they held on to clinch all three points.
