U21s: Sheffield Wednesday preview

A look ahead to Wanderers' upcoming clash with the Blades

Bolton Wanderers Under-21s host Sheffield Wednesday in their latest Professional Development League 2 game on Friday afternoon.

Kicking off at 2pm at The County Ground, Leyland, the young Whites return to the field after a two-and-a-half week break having drawn their last outing away at Birmingham City at the start of the month.

That draw saw Bolton end a three-game losing run, with the Trotters now currently sit sixth in the northern section having won just one of their last 11 matches.

In contrast, visitors Sheffield Wednesday lie bottom of the 11-team table, but two of their three victories this season have come from their last five games.

Tickets will be available on the turnstiles and cost £3 for adults, £1 for concessions and are free for season ticket holders.

There will also be updates throughout the match via the club’s Twitter account @OfficialBWFC, with a full match report available at www.bwfc.co.uk following the game.
