Following the release of Bolton Wanderers' Sky Bet EFL League One fixtures for the 2016/17 season, bwfc.co.uk takes a look ahead at the midweek clashes that await the Whites.
A first midweek tie of the season comes courtesy of the Football League Cup as they travel to Bloomfield Road for a first round clash against Blackpool the week commencing Monday 8 August.
Bolton take on Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium a week later in their maiden midweek league fixture of the campaign on Tuesday 16 August.
A local derby clash away at Rochdale awaits as Phil Parkinson's side make the short journey to Spotland on Tuesday 27 September, before making the slightly longer trip to the capital to face Millwall at the Den a month later on Tuesday 18 October.
Coventry City are the opponents for the Trotters' first midweek league fixture of the season at Macron Stadium as they host the Sky Blues on Tuesday 22 November.
Return fixtures against both Rochdale and Bristol Rovers also fall in midweek, taking place at BL6 on Tuesday 14 and Tuesday 28 February respectively.
Wanderers then face off against Gillingham for their final scheduled midweek match of the season, taking place at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on Tuesday 14 March.
