Last chance for 2016/17 charity partner nominations

Organisations advised to act quickly if they are wishing to apply for support from the club throughout the coming season

Following a successful 2015/16 charity campaign which raised thousands of pounds for a number of organisations, the club are now accepting nominations for the coming season with the deadline being Friday 24 June.

Last term saw Adoption Matters nominated as the National Charity and Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme as the Local Charity of the Year along with several associate charities, all of whom have benefited from working with the Whites to support campaigns, raise profiles and raise significant sums of money to help make a difference.

Phil Mason, Club Chaplain and Chair of the Charity Policy group said, “It has been a great season from a charity perspective and we have been delighted to work with a whole variety of charities that make such a difference to people’s lives.

"It was also great to have the special third shirt this year that commemorated the 70th anniversary of the Burnden Park Disaster and in turn raised £10,000 for Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme."
