Dev Squad: Manchester City preview

A look ahead to Wanderers' Manchester County FA Senior Cup semi-final

Bolton Wanderers' Development Squad face Manchester City in the Manchester County FA Senior Cup semi-finals on Tuesday.

In a repeat of last year's final, the young Whites host City at The County Ground, Leyland, looking to defend their title after Quade Taylor's solitary strike saw them emerge victorious back in August.

The tie was originally meant to be played in January, only to be postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

Iain Brunskill's side come into the tie off the back of a three-game unbeaten run, having finished their Professional Development League 2 campaign with a 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday.

Meanwhile, visitors Manchester City currently lie fourth in Barclays U21 Premier League Division 1 after losing 1-0 to Everton in their last outing.

Kicking off at 7pm, tickets will be available on the turnstiles and cost £3 for adults, £1 for concessions and are free for season ticket holders.
