Serving Personnel and Veterans can purchase Port Vale tickets for £10 by showing their MOD 90 card or Veterans Badge
Bolton Wanderers Football Club are delighted to announce a brand new match ticket price for serving Armed Forces personnel and Veterans to coincide with the Poppy Appeal fixture against Port Vale on Saturday 29 October, 2016.
Serving Personnel and Veterans can purchase a ticket for £10 for this fixture by showing their MOD 90 card or Veterans Badge at the shop tills in Bolton Central pre-match and from the Ticket Hall on match day from 9am. This is a perfect way for Bolton Wanderers to say a big thank you to our serving men and women in the forces, past and present.
The Club has strong ties with The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment which culminated in the renaming of the former BT Suite to The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment Suite in 2011.
Major George Briscoe MBE, of the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment said: “Bolton Wanderers have been superb in their continued support to serving soldiers and veterans alike; The Duke of Lancaster Suite is testament to this after renaming it in honour of the Regiment’s fallen.
“Bolton Wanderers continue to support in many ways with corporate events, raising monies for Armed Forces charities and the much welcomed discounted match tickets to serving members and veterans.
“It is to their credit that the club continues to support all Military Personnel and Veterans, for which we are grateful. The link between the services and Bolton Wanderers Football Club remains strong and long may it continue.”
Serving Personnel and Veterans who are season ticket holders can purchase an additional ticket for £10 for a family member or friend. MOD 90 card or Veterans badge must be shown at the time of booking.
Phil Mason, Head of the Bolton Wanderers Community Trust added: “Bolton Wanderers Community Trust has also entered into a partnership with the Royal British Legion in a new “Friends of the Forces” programme.
“This initiative will see the Community Trust work with ex-servicemen and women and will encourage the beneficiaries to participate in existing BWCT schemes.
“I’m delighted that the club is also recognising the work and dedication of the serving personnel and veterans by offering this discount on match tickets.”
