Keshi Anderson - I can’t wait to get started

Forward excited about prospect of potential debut at Macron Stadium

Keshi Anderson is looking forward to making his Bolton Wanderers debut after joining the club on loan on Deadline Day.

Signing from Crystal Palace, the young forward saw a prolific loan stint with Doncaster Rovers cut short by injury last season.

Now back to full fitness, Anderson shared his excitement with bwfc.co.uk about a potential maiden appearance at Macron Stadium against Southend United.

“I’ve been looking out at the stadium from the hotel and it is an amazing sight,” he told the club. “I can’t wait to get out there and start playing.

“The move took a bit of time but I’m glad that it is finally done and I am happy to be here.

“It’s a good club to be at. I’ve looked online at the squad to see where I fit in.

“The start to the season couldn’t really be any better, could it? Hopefully we can just carry on like we’ve started and keep the run going.”

Anderson continued: “I came across the gaffer last season when he was at Bradford. I played against him with Doncaster and he must have seen me then.

“I was there for a couple of months. I played a few games and it went as well as it could have gone before I got injured. I’m back fit now and can’t wait to get started.

“I’ve got a bit of pace and a bit of skill. I like to get on the ball and create things. I don’t mind putting it in the back of the net, either.

“Hopefully I can get as many as I can and have a good season.”
