A note from the Chairman

Of course, for us not to win last night's game at Macron Stadium was a source of disappointment and frustration.

Once again the ball just wouldn't go in the back of the net for us but I think the team gave it their all and it just wasn't to be. Hopefully, our luck in front of goal will change for the better in our next two games.

Over 18,000 of you were there showing your fantastic support for the team and I cannot emphasise enough how much it is appreciated by all. The crowds have grown over the course of the campaign which augurs well for the future.

I am very much 'a glass half full' type of person and truly believe we will get promoted.

Our destiny is still in our own hands as we are still two points clear of Fleetwood, four clear of Scunthorpe United and five clear of Bradford City with two games to go. I feel sure they would all prefer to be in our position.

The focus is now on to the next game against Port Vale, where hopefully we will achieve a win and move three points closer to our target of automatic promotion. We will be backed again by a large contingent of Wanderers fans.

We all need to continue to get behind the team and ensure we get the results we need in our last two games to get us over the line.

As I said, we are still in control of our destiny and the chasing pack have to better our results.

Let's be loud, let's be proud and let's get behind the boys.

Ken
