Lotteries team up with Bolton Dementia Support

Bolton Wanderers Lotteries have teamed up with its newest charity partner, Bolton Dementia Support to introduce Bolton Dementia Support Lifeline and Goldline Lotteries.

The Lotteries are always looking at ways to assist local charities and organisations to help them raise much needed funds by creating their own club lottery.

Their members have the chance to win cash prizes while raising cash for their chosen charity.

The Lotteries fully appreciate how important Bolton Dementia Support is to both the person who is living with dementia and the carer who is providing their care.

Your support of Bolton Dementia Support Lotteries means that 70% of every £2 you pay to Bolton Dementia Support Lifeline and Goldline will go directly to the charity, while you have the opportunity to win cash prizes up to £7,500!

Funds raised by Bolton Dementia Support Lifeline and Goldline Lotteries will be put to great use by this fantastic local charity.

Dementia does not discriminate. This disease can affect anyone regardless of background, lifestyle, education or status and many supporters will know someone who has seen the effects of this disease.

This has been felt within the lottery team at Bolton Wanderers with a member of club staff losing her mother in December 2016 after a ten-year battle.

Bolton Dementia Support are based at Thicketford Centre, Thicketford Road, Bolton and they provide various resources for both the person with dementia and their carer.

These include a number of proven therapies such as simulated presence, laughter, doll, music, reminiscence, cognitive stimulation, singing for well-being and dance.

They also arrange day trips to various places such as Llandudno, Lytham St Annes, Bridgewater Hall and Octagon Theatre giving the carers and the person living with dementia the chance to experience things they may not be able to do independently.
