Bolton’s own Stu Francis to star in Aladdin Panto at Macron Stadium

2017 Pantomime confirmed at Macron Stadium

Gerry Graham Pantos and Productions are delighted to be returning to Bolton to start a new pantomime era at Macron Stadium.

Bolton panto-goers may remember that Gerry Graham brought the Albert Halls out of the dark with ‘Cinderella’ way back in 1998, and produced the annual Albert Hall pantomime until the year 2000.

During that time he established an enviable reputation for well written, well produced and well performed pantomime, suitable for all ages, and guaranteed to leave audiences with smiles on their faces. He and his wife Maxine also formed a great attachment for the town, and made many lasting friendships during their time there.

Gerry is delighted to be invited back to Bolton and Macron Stadium, the home of Pantomime in Bolton, to produce this year’s panto offering ‘Aladdin’ starring Bolton’s own Stu Francis (Crackerjack, Border TV's Crush a Grape & many more) as Wishee Washee! Joe Maw from CBBC's Tracey Beaker ‘the Dumping Ground’ as Aladdin, Dwain Haydn from ‘The Voice’ as Genie, Bolton Stuntman Paul Flanagan as the evil Abanazer.

Add the legendry pantomime dame Mike Raymond as Widow Twanky, Holly-Robyn Harrison (Sky 1's Starlings) as Princess Badroulbador, and a madcap pair of Chinese Policemen, and you have a recipe for panto mayhem on a grand scale!

Gerry is proud to announce a further Bolton connection as Dawn Dawson’s renowned Dance Academy will be providing junior and senior chorus. Set in the magnificent Macron Stadium, with a capacity of 900 seats, everything about this pantomime is going to be MASSIVE at the MACRON!

Gerry has written and produced hundreds of pantomimes since 1987, entertained throughout the world on cruise ships, performed at every major theatre in the UK including the London Palladium, travelled thousands of miles to club and cabaret engagements, has written scripts for Sooty, toured with a west end musical, body searched Jimmy Nail in ‘Auf Wiedersehen Pet’, and been sworn at by Sir Laurence Olivier in ‘Lost Empires’. He brings all this experience, dedication and passion to Macron Stadium this year.

Aladdin is at Macron Stadium from December 11th to 24th, 2017.
