Injury update on Alnwick, Taylor and Madine

27 March 2017

An update as to the progress of the three first teamers who suffered injuries at Greenhous Meadow on Saturday

Manager Phil Parkinson has offered an update to the injuries sustained by three first teamers in Saturday’s victory over Shrewsbury Town.

Goalkeeper Ben Alnwick, who was withdrawn in the second period of the game, has suffered what appears to be medial ligament damage and will undergo a scan today.

Andrew Taylor meanwhile appears to have damaged his calf muscle and will undergo a scan tomorrow morning.

Finally, Gary Madine took a knock to his thigh area at the weekend and will undergo a scan later today, but the hope is that it is just an impact injury.

Further information, as and when it is received, will be published on bwfc.co.uk and the club's social media outlets.
