International watch: Josh Cullen captains Republic of Ireland Under-21s in latest Euro qualifiers

Josh Cullen captained Republic of Ireland Under-21s in their latest 2019 UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifiers during the October international break.

The on-loan midfielder completed the full 90 minutes for the Boys in Green in both fixtures as they locked horns with both Norway and Israel.

Facing off at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin for both games, Ireland were first held to a 0-0 draw by Norway last Thursday.

The Boys in Green then clinched a 4-0 victory over Israel as Reece Grego-Cox scored a hat-trick with Harry Charsley also on the scoresheet.

The results see the Irish maintain their unbeaten start to hold onto top spot in Group 5 after four games played.

Elsewhere, Jake Turner was an unused substitute for England Under-19s as they lost to Czech Republic before drawing with Slovakia.
