Geoff Eltringham will oversee Wanderers' Sky Bet Championship trip to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
The Durham-based official will be running the rule over the Whites once again after he took charge of four Bolton matches in total last year, including a 1-0 win over Hull City and 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage versus Fulham.
The man in the middle took charge of 35 Sky Bet Football League games last season, dishing out 129 yellow cards and dismissing three players.
John Flynn and Billy Smallwood will run the line, while Scott Duncan is the fourth official.
