Gary Madine named as Wanderers' Bolton KIA Player of the Month for December

Gary Madine has been voted Bolton Wanderers' KIA Player of the Month for December 2017 by the club's supporters.

In a league of his own throughout the month, the striker scored four goals from the Whites' six outings as his efforts saw him win the award for the second time this season having also won it back in August.

Netting a brace against Barnsley, Madine was also on the scoresheet from the penalty spot against Cardiff City before scoring the winner against Sheffield United as Bolton picked up their first away win of the season in their final outing of the calendar year.

Supporters voted for the award on bwfc.co.uk with Madine boasting a whopping 85.4% of the vote to clinch an emphatic victory.

September and November winner Mark Little finished second (4%), while goalkeeper Ben Alnwick rounded off the top three (2.5%).

Meanwhile, fan Emily Walmsley has won hospitality in the Platinum Suite by voting, where she'll present Madine with his accolade at an upcoming Wanderers home game of her choice.
