A new fan group has been set up – named Proud Wanderers – which is open to people from the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) community and allies.
They welcome anyone who wants to make Macron Stadium a safe and more pleasant place for everyone, regardless of their sexuality, with the group being supported by the club and Bolton Wanderers Community Trust.
As well as working with the club to drive discrimination and hatred from the stands, Proud Wanderers will be a social forum for LGBT supporters of Bolton Wanderers, plus they will be engaging with other clubs’ LGBT groups.
