Wheater and Ameobi visit Thomas Cook's Middlebrook Discovery Store

Bolton Wanderers first team duo David Wheater and Sammy Ameobi were the guests of honour at Thomas Cook’s new Middlebrook store on Monday afternoon.

The Whites’ skipper and No.10 were in attendance to meet and greet supporters, sign autographs and memorabilia and pose for selfies.

The visit meanwhile came in line with the recent opening of the store based on Middlebrook Retail Park in October of last year – the first Thomas Cook Discovery Store in the region.

It also celebrated Bolton Wanderers’ partnership with Thomas Cook Sport, with the company acting as the club’s Official Travel Partners.

Speaking following the visit, Thomas Cook's Partnership & Marketing Manager Kylie-Jayne Paramanis said: “It was a pleasure to host David and Sammy at our Thomas Cook Discovery store on Middlebrook Retail Park

“Fans were queuing out the door to meet their heroes and it was great to be able to welcome the players and the incredible supporters to one of the newer Thomas Cook locations.

“Thank you to our partner, Bolton Wanderers Football Club, for helping to make it happen

“At Thomas Cook Sport, we pride ourselves on offering incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experiences to sports fans, whether that’s a trip to the Monaco GP or following the English Cricket team to the beautiful West Indies or Sri Lanka.

"We also love working with our Thomas Cook retail teams and collaborating with our club partners, by offering their supporters the services of a travel expert to book their dream holiday with.
