Coming off the back of a 2-0 defeat against Birmingham City, the boys will be looking to bounce back against the Reds.
The U23s currently sit fourth in the North Section of the Professional Development League after 16 games, having won eight, drawn two and lost six of their outings so far.
When looking at the Forest's team meanwhile, they sit seventh in the North Section of the Professional Development League.
With 21 points taken from a possible 48, Forest come into the game off the back of a 3-0 victory against Crewe Alexandra U23s on December 17.
