Bolton Wanderers are delighted to announce that midfielder Dennis Politic has signed a contract extension until June 2022.
The Romanian winger joined the club as a 15-year-old, before progressing through the youth ranks at the Eddie Davies Academy.
After signing his first professional contract with Wanderers in June 2018, Politic went out on loan for the 18/19 season at Salford City in the Conference Premier.
This season, Politic made his debut for the club against Wycombe Wanderers and has made 21 appearances for the Whites so far this season, netting twice against Rochdale and Bradford respectively.
On his new contract, Politic said: “I’m very grateful to the gaffer for giving me this opportunity, trusting me and giving me the chance to sign this new deal.”
“At this club, it’s great for young players to get into the first team, so I’m just going to work as hard as I can to get as many minutes as I can in the first team.
“I’ve enjoyed getting game time and scoring goals is always a good feeling and playing in front of big crowds, especially home ones.
“The supporters have been very supportive of me which I appreciate. Hopefully I carry on playing as well as I can and get as many goals as I can.”
