Wanderers’ name will be on ball number-one in the northern section when the draw for the last 16 of the Papa John’s Trophy takes place on Saturday.
The Whites – who topped their qualifying group and then beat Fleetwood Town 1-0 to reach this stage of the competition – are one of eight clubs left in the northern section.
The draw will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Football after Saturday’s Championship fixture between Coventry City and West Bromwich Albion (KO 12.30pm).
