Aimson: This Club Is On Its Way Up

Will Aimson believes Bolton Wanderers can help him fulfil his ambition of playing Championship football.

The centre back inked a two-year deal at the University of Bolton Stadium last week after leaving Plymouth Argyle, for whom he featured in 46 games in League One last term.

And, following Wanderers return to the third tier after last season's success, Aimson is confident that his new club will carry on their momentum and help him achieve his own personal goal.

“Championship football has been my aim for a long time, beyond that, if possible,” he said.

“I feel like this is a club that is back on its way to that level and more. It is a big part of me coming here. I know that’s what the fans want. It is definitely what I want, to be involved in the journey back to that better level of football.”
