What started out to be a snow-covered, chilly day at the University of Bolton Stadium soon turned into a scorcher of a match with four goals hitting the back of the net - and a £1000 cash prize for this dad and lad duo!
Peter O'Neill Snr and Peter O'Neil Jnr had both bought a Golden Goal ticket and decided that if one of them had the winning time, they would share the prize.
And it was Dad, Peter, who did just that by matching the first goal time of 35 minutes and 53 seconds to his ticket and scooping the £1000 Golden Goal rollover prize.
As longstanding supporters of the Lifeline and Goldine, both Peters are very much part of the lottery family so the team were thrilled when they came to the club shop on Saturday to claim their winnings. Well done, Peter and Peter!
Golden Goal tickets for the match tomorrow against Lincoln City can be purchased now from within the club shop, or prior to the game tomorrow via one of our sellers on the concourses or outside the shop.
