Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Mark Litherland has today left his position as Head of Academy to pursue other opportunities.
The club’s Board, manager Ian Evatt and Chief Executive Officer Neil Hart would like to place on record their thanks to Mark for his work over the last two seasons and wish him all the best for the future.
Wanderers will very shortly begin the process of recruiting a new Academy Director to head the club’s youth section.
Academy Operations Manager Andy Watkins will act as operational lead for the Academy during the interim period and liaise closely with senior football and club staff until an appointment is made.
