Wanderers know they will face one of four teams when the draw is made for the last 32 of the Papa Johns Trophy.
The Whites will be ball number 2 in Draw A of the northern section of the competition.
As group winners in the qualifying stage, Ian Evatt’s men are guaranteed a home tie.
And they will play against either Mansfield Town, Barrow, Bradford City or Barnsley in a repeat of last weekend’s FA Cup first-round tie.
The draw is scheduled to take place on Sky Sports after Friday night’s live Championship fixture between Birmingham City and Sunderland at around 9.55pm.
The last-32 ties are scheduled to be played in the week commencing Monday, 21 November.
