Take Part In The Chairman’s Walk!

20 fundraisers are now signed up to take part in the upcoming Chairman’s Walk - and there’s still time for you to join them!

Club Chairman Sharon Brittan will lead the group of fundraisers, including Director Nick Luckock and CEO Neil Hart, on the 12-mile walk on Saturday 22nd April.

Starting in Chapeltown village, the route will cover historical club landmarks and sites, including Bromwich Street, Burnden Park and Pikes Lane before culminating at the University of Bolton Stadium.

The event also coincides with the 100th anniversary year of the Wanderers’ FA Cup triumph in 1923 at Wembley where throughout the rounds of the competition, Wanderers fans clocked up the miles when they travelled to games by foot.

Speaking on her participation in the event, Club Chairman Sharon Brittan said: “I’m looking forward to as many fans as possible joining me on our second Chairman’s Walk and that together, we can help raise vital funds for BWitC as they support those in our community who need help the most.”

“The Wellbeing Hub will provide BWitC with a welcoming space to continue to deliver their mental health and wellbeing provision, which directly addresses the growing support people unfortunately require.”
