We are delighted to announce that Club Bolton, Wanderers’ in-house hospitality and events team, have been nominated across a host of categories at the upcoming Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards 2024.
The Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards recognise and raise the profile of the commitment of matchday hospitality and specialist events teams working at stadium venues across the UK.
Wanderers have been shortlisted amongst the best in the country in the following categories:
Visiting Football Directors Award: The Visiting Directors Award is voted for by Directors at each club. They are asked to nominate the club where they had the best away experience when travelling with their team. They are specifically asked to consider the welcome, service and catering when casting their votes.
Matchday Hospitality Award - Medium Stadium: Experienced chef and hospitality experts attend each venue to try out their matchday offering. Each element is carefully considered and scored against strict criteria. This award is split into three categories (small, medium and large) based on the number of hospitality seats on a matchday to compare similar sized operations.
Overall Matchday Hospitality Award: This award pitches all sized clubs against all, to announce the overall winning UK stadium that provides the very best matchday hospitality experience.
Chris Gibson, Head of Hospitality at Bolton Wanderers, added: “We are delighted to have been nominated in these three categories at the Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards 2024.
“We pride ourselves on providing a quality hospitality experience throughout the Toughsheet Community Stadium and a great deal of hard work goes into maintaining the high standards we keep at our club.
“Nominations such as this are an indicator of the progress made across our hospitality offering the past 12 months and we look forward to the event this summer.”
Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer at Bolton Wanderers said: “Congratulations to Chris Gibson, Vicky Perry, Amanda Grundy and the whole Club Bolton team for these multiple nominations at the upcoming Stadium Events and Hospitality Awards 2024.
“With a new look and feel in each suite, there have also been fantastic improvements to service as well as the food and beverage offering. We are so proud to have seen record numbers through the doors and to have sold out our hospitality areas on multiple occasions this season.
“This is thanks to the diligent work of each and every staff member who, since the significant refurbishment over the summer of 2023, have breathed new life into our hospitality offering. A huge well done to you all.”
The Awards will take place on Thursday 4th July at a Gala Dinner at Elland Road, home of Leeds United.
