Bolton Wanderers has commenced consultation with the Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Trust regarding safe standing at Toughsheet Community Stadium for the 2024/25 season. As part of this process, we would like to survey our entire fanbase to garner supporter views and ideas about how this should be implemented.
Thirty clubs across the Premier League and EFL have now either implemented safe standing or sought to gain a licence to do so following Government confirmation back in 2022 that clubs were able to introduce standing at stadiums.
Bolton Wanderers are confident that safe standing would work well at the Toughsheet Community Stadium and a dedicated area where fans are permitted to stand would help to elevate the atmosphere at home matchdays. We would also look to make flags and banners available for use in this area.
The choice, however, is yours – and that is why we’d like to get your thoughts.
