Lee Turner is appointed as the club's goalkeeping coach
Bolton Wanderers have appointed Lee Turner as a goalkeeping coach.The 47-year-old joins from Crystal Palace and will begin his role with immediate effect.
Turner’s playing career saw him turn out for Ebbsfleet and Margate before moving into coaching with Southend United.
During an eight-year stint at Roots Hall, Turner became close acquaintances with current Bolton boss Dougie Freedman, who finished his playing career with a the Shrimpers between 2008 and 2010.
And after being appointed as manager of Palace, Freedman then recruited Turner as his goalkeeping coach in January 2011.
