Over 11,000 season tickets currently sold for the upcoming 2012/13 campaign - more than this time last year
Bolton Wanderers can report that currently over 11,000 season tickets for the upcoming 2012/13 campaign have been sold, with more than 3,000 purchased last week prior to the passing of Saturday's early purchase deadline. This current total of sales exceeds the volumes sold at the same time last year.
A large proportion of supporters have opted to take advantage of the hugely-successful interest-free direct debit offer, with more than 43 percent of those who purchased their season ticket using direct debit.
Head of Public Sales Richard Gough said: "Once again, Wanderers fans continue to show great support for the club and the team.
"In the week leading up to the early purchase deadline we sold more than 3,000 season tickets and that now means we have topped more than 11,000 season ticket holders and that we continue on track with our Premier League totals from previous years.
"Season tickets remain on sale and supporters still have the option to spread the cost of their season ticket over a seven-month period, interest-free."
Manager Owen Coyle said: "Our fans backed us through thick and thin last season with constant support.
"It is testament to the loyalty of Wanderers fans that so many have already taken up their season tickets, especially with the current economic pressures.
"The Reebok is a tough place to come and play when the fans are in full voice and that backing will be essential next season."
