Manager Dougie Freedman says he is looking forward to seeing over 2,000 Bolton fans at Bloomfield Road
Dougie Freedman has moved to thank the army of Wanderers fans who will be travelling to Bloomfield Road on Saturday afternoon and backing the team against Blackpool.
The club have sold out their full allocation of away tickets, meaning that there will be over 2,000 supporters making the journey to the Fylde Coast where Bolton will be looking to build on the encouraging start to the new manager’s reign at the Reebok.
“Everyone is fit, everyone is raring to go and looking forward to the games now,” said Freedman.
“The backing of the fans on Tuesday night was a great help to us. The players saw that they are playing for a set of fans that will get behind them, and in the second half we came out and gave it a right good go.
“The fans have a big part to play and that’s my message to them. These guys provide wonderful support.
“I understand the situation because I’m a football fan just like everyone else, so for the fans to go one step further and support the team when the players need them is wonderful.
“When we start turning results around and the players deliver performances that they are capable of then the fans will be coming to the Reebok and really enjoying themselves.”
